Spectrum School has a strong tradition of providing its students with additional care, guidance, instruction and social interaction both before and after school. The time your child spends in COMPASS is supervised by qualified staff at a safe student to staff ratio. During COMPASS students may study, become involved in structured activities such as board games or craft projects, they may play on their own, or read, or take part in a long term after-school program such as martial arts. We spend as much time as possible outdoors, soaking up the fresh air and sunshine in the afternoon. Here, most often the children conjure up activities within their imaginations and the play is more active, less structured and more invigorating.
