Paige Rauh-Part-Time Curriculum Coordinator
B.A. Psychology, Wheaton College
Masters of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.), Rockford University
Illinois Teachers License K-9
Paige began her formal teaching career in the Rockford Public School District. She then went on to split her time between staying home with her three kids and teaching developmental reading at Rock Valley College. She is a lifelong learner and often experiences the world with more questions than answers. Along with her questioning spirit, she has a deep respect for academic excellence, a commitment to interdisciplinary study, commitment to understanding development, and to the process of inquiry. Her foundational question as an educator, has always been, “Why am I doing what I am doing?”
She has three kids that attend Spectrum. She is grateful for the ways in which the Spectrum philosophy encourages them to experience the world, create their own questions and seek their own answers. Being a part of the Spectrum community has afforded her children an opportunity to be thinkers, adventurers, and to develop agency and to question the world in which they live in a developmentally appropriate way. She is grateful that her family can be a part of this special learning community.
