After 15 years of learning and growing in the field of education and advanced learning, I am back at Spectrum Progressive School and am thrilled to be working with and growing minds! My passion is teaching and learning, and I engage in both as a parent of four and a teacher of many. Science, Math, and Language Arts are my areas of expertise, and I have spent many of my years working on STEM curriculum and teaching. My goal is to light the spark of creativity, learning, and passion in all my students through multiple intelligence projects, raising the ceiling of knowledge, and fostering social and emotional growth and stability in these challenging times.
I value family partnerships and look forward to building those relationships. I am currently married with four children; my oldest is a Spectrum alumni and is headed out for her first year at the University of Iowa, and my youngest is two and will be joining the Spectrum family next year. I look forward to a wonderful year of learning and building relationships!
