Thinking, Creating, Reflecting: Impacting the Future

Preschool Highlights! Feb. 17 – Feb. 20

Drama with GiGi!

The children had a blast acting out Grumpy Monkey and showing off their best grumpy faces. So many giggles and great expressions!

Music with Ms. Sue!

Our young musicians had a wonderful time making music with Ms. Sue! The children explored rhythm using sandblocks and sang cheerful songs all about transportation.

Preschool worktime magic: little hands, big learning, and growing minds at work!

The Snow Thief!

On Wednesday, we read The Snow Thief by Alice Hemming and Nicola Slater. What animal was in the story? We made one for art today and used something from a pine tree to help make the tail!

Simple, creative, and lots of imagination during this Thursday morning Preschool work time!

More Music with Ms. Sue!

On Thursday, we sang “I’ve Been Working on the Railroad” and moved to the beat! The children tiptoed, marched, and galloped with horses, then played sandblocks to keep the rhythm of a train song.

This Week's Sharings!

This week in Preschool, Apolonia shared her Dominoes game, EJ shared his Thor toy, Kai gave everyone a red envelope with a gold coin inside which is a symbol of good luck and happiness for the Lunar New Year, Luna shared her stuffy named Dragy, Adelaide shared her unicorn, Ephraim shared his kitty named Phillip, and Valentina shared that she loves her family!
