Geometry Unit!
To kick off our Geometry unit, Upper celebrated Pi Day (a few days late). We learned how Archimedes discovered Pi over 2,000 years ago. We learned the formulas for finding the area and perimeter of circles. We completed an art project using the numbers of Pi, and if course we made Pi! S’mores was the students favorite; Lizzy liked the whipped cream best.

The Reward Is...?!
Thursday’s reward for hard work? Making tin foil hats. Not sure why they wanted this, but they had a good time. They even made Lizzy one!
