Bio

I have loved Spectrum ever since my two daughters were students here. Becoming the Intermediate Elementary teacher is a perfect bonus to a fulfilling career, as I care very deeply about Spectrum, being on the Board of Directors for 4 years previously.

I've been an educator, writer, and consultant. I've also studied "Psychotherapy for the Soul" with the New England Institute of Psychology. I've taught Preschool through College and adults including juvenile and adult offenders. I consider myself to be an alternative educator. I've won National Acclaim for a Gifted Bilingual Preschool Program and subsequently was invited to Washington D.C. for grant reading. I'm certified in Gifted Education, Special Education, Reading, and much more.

Outside of school, my interests are family, dogs, exercise and dance, children and community, volunteering and social justice issues, and reading.
