We started class with a group card game. Instead of words, students used bird calls to find their card match. We also played bucket drums: reading and playing rhythms and learning drum rudiments or sticking patterns. This week we learned what a flam and paradiddle is. We finished class playing Shakira’s Dai Dai song, theme of this year’s World Cup soccer.

Aaliyah is the pilot, who just can’t seem to keep the plane going straight!
