Thinking, Creating, Reflecting: Impacting the Future

World Explorers’ & Trail Blazers’ Journal! Mar. 7 – Mar. 11

Please return your field trip forms for our visit to Rockford University on Wednesday, March 16th. We also still need drivers to transport us.

Thank you!

Happy Birthday to our birthday girls this week, Daliyah and Julia!

Grace Lin!

After we finished reading Year of the Dog last week, we wrote letters to one of our new favorite authors, Grace Lin!

Design Challenge!

The World Explorers did a deeper dive into wheels and axles through their vehicle design challenge using recycled materials!

Paper Ball Challenge!

Trailblazers beginning the Fluor Paper Ball Challenge! The goal is to build the slowest ball run possible. Lots of exploring and prototyping!

Look for some inspiring quotes around the building as Trailblazers “graduate” from their cursive work!

Anthony preformed his solo “Snap, Crackle, Pop!” for our class!

Planning Flipgrid videos to teach other classes an art lesson for the Art Auction!

Thank You Alan!

Thursday morning, Kelli showed the Trailblazers their new footballs, balls, games, etc that were able to be purchased thanks to a donation from Trailblazer grandparent, Alan. There were lots of smiles!

Thank you, Alan! We all appreciate it so much!

Solofest!

Trail Blazer Band Students are preparing for their first Solofest this Saturday! Good luck to all the band students performing their solos. You have worked so hard and I am so proud of you!
