Thinking, Creating, Reflecting: Impacting the Future

Wildthings’ Adventures: Mar.11 – Mar.15

Monday

On Monday, we painted the background for the solar system mural we will be making. After lunch, we went outside to observe changes in the woods. We noticed how the water was flowing quickly under the ice.

Tuesday

This morning, we practiced self control by not popping bubbles, we read “City Moon”, shared our observations of the moon over the weekend, and played the “leprechaun game” in music class. This afternoon, we went outside to play and observed the water rushing in the steam. Inside, we measured items in the class room using links. We compare length, width, and height of different objects including our feet! Some students even measured the circumference of the globe! I love watching their curious minds work!

Still working on digging out the dinosaurs from earlier in the year!

100 Acts of Kindness

We are a little over 1/3 of the way to our goal of 100 acts of kindness (there have definitely been more they just haven’t all made it to the tree).
