Tinker Swiss Cottage Field Trip!
Upper spent Tuesday morning at Tinker Swiss Cottage learning about archeology and historic Rockford. Of course, a visit to the most haunted place in Rockford did lead to claims of paranormal activity.
Starved Rock!
Upper’s favorite part of Starved Rock on Thursday was Devil’s Canyon. The hike was brutal, but so worth it. Who knew learning about rocks could be so much fun?! Thank you Mick for showing it to us.

Upper had an amazing day at Starved Rock! Hiking to the top of the cliff and hearing stories about the people who lived here first was amazing. Thanks Jen & Mick for going with us!
