Happy birthday to William’s dad, Ryan! And thank you for the cupcakes!

On Tuesday, we celebrated Havi's 5th birthday with treats...Happy Birthday Havi!

Music with Ms. Sue!

Scarves, dancing and making music with pool noodles…these Opals had so much fun!

Pumpkin Fun with Ag in the Classroom!

Ms. Sarah from Ag in the Classroom came to visit us on Wednesday and taught us all about pumpkins! We learned about the different parts of a pumpkin and talked about all the fun and useful things we can do with pumpkins.
We even got to explore what the inside of a pumpkin feels like. Is it slimy? You bet! We used our senses to describe the pumpkin and then finished our learning with a fun pumpkin craft.

Preschool getting creative and working together at work time!

Fire Safety!

We learned the importance of Fire Safety this week. The students listened to Miss Julia reading a story about fire safety and the importance of Stop, Rock and Roll.

Bubble Gum Bubble Gum!

Miss Julia led students in a fun counting song, Bubble Gum Bubble Gum and a finger naming song. It is wonderful having alumni Julia come back to Spectrum as a Preschool staff member…she is amazing!

This Week's Sharings!

This week in Preschool, William shared that his favorite color is Black because he likes Batman and has a lot of Batman toys. Havi shared a grey and white raccoon that he sleeps with and wakes up with him. Felix shared his ghost stuffy named Bologna that he sleeps with at night.
