What happens when you mix yellow and red? You get orange! What color are pumpkins? Orange! What will the preschoolers turn their orange creation into tomorrow? A jack-0-lantern!

During Music with Ms. Sue, we sang about a pumpkin farm and enjoyed singing “Five Little Jack-O’-Lanterns.” We practiced using tapping sticks and followed directions as we sang “Let’s All Tap Our Sticks Today.” We also worked on learning music notes and counting beats. To add some extra fun, we tried our best to move carefully and avoid getting stuck in the spider web!

On Friday, we played a name game. Everyone got a purple index card turned faced down with a classmates name on it. Lorelei started the game by turning her card over to reveal the name. She then had to figure out who’s name it was and deliver it them. That person was the next one to turn over their card. The classmates had to rely on their peers help and listen for beginning sounds to figure out the name they had.

This week in Preschool, Norah shared her rainbown unicorn and purse, Lennon shared her cuddly duck stuffy named Oakley, EJ shared his blue musical frog given to him by his Gigi, Sunny shared her Disney on Ice bag along with her Rex toy, Avery shared her ponies, and Lorelei shared her mermaid tail!
