Thinking, Creating, Reflecting: Impacting the Future

Wildthings’ Adventures: Jan.14 – Jan.18

Positively impacting the future, one day at a time...

Magnatiles Mastery!

Pip’s buildings are getting very elaborate! I think we are going to need more Magnatiles:)

Collaborative Work

Work time at its best! Evan and Finn trying different items from the room under the magnifying glass. They are comparing and describing them.

Hello to Diana!

Welcome to our new friend Diana! She is another wonderful addition to our classroom!

Ice cream, anyone?!

Xander worked on this “ice cream cone ” for 2 days!

Winter = Hibernation time

This week, we are learning about hibernating animals and animals that adapt. Here we are sorting them!

The Doorbell Rang

Yesterday, we read the book “The Doorbell Rang” by Pat Hutchins. Then, we recalled the story by acting it out, dividing out the cookies and sharing them. For snack, we continued the lesson by making chocolate chip energy balls. Students helped measure the ingredients by following the recipe, and mixing them together.

Proper Attire

At All-School Share, Nature School shared how to “dress for success” for the Angelic Organics field trip.
