Thank you to all of our speakers for Career Day – we really appreciate the time and energy you gave our students today.
When we started the year, we did a lot of themed activities on Everyone Counts. It was an intentional pun for inclusiveness and a math focus for the year. The day-to-day at times overshadows big ideas and best intentions. We are stunning at including children and working through moments of disenfranchisement and peer conflict.
I am hoping we can take some time to revisit the math side of this theme.
Let’s make some of spring break a time of paying attention to numbers and math. Share via social media, email, a note, or pictures what your family did with numbers, counting, measuring, comparing, using math in the real world…we would love to build a bulletin board showing your efforts.
