Bio

After two years of leading Compass, Spectrum's before and after school program, I am excited to spend more time with our students in the classroom. Like the fun aunt of the family, I get to come in to each classroom and do exciting projects. My motto is, "There is no wrong way to art" and I encourage students to use art to express themselves in ways that are meaningful to them. I will be doing a variety of projects, from drawing and painting to process art and clay work. I will also be introducing all students to Spanish language and culture of Spanish speaking countries. I strongly believe that being able to speak and understand another language opens us up to entire parts of the world and people we otherwise would never have been able to connect with. I am excited to share that gift with Spectrum students.

I have been a Spectrum parent since 2018 and a staff member since 2021. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, gardening, and daydreaming about travel.
