Finding the volume of a cube and creating a puzzle. Tomorrow, the students color their cubes and try to see if they can put together each other’s cubes.

Intermediate and Upper had an amazing time at Rockford University on Wednesday! P.E. Student teachers guided our students in many fun group activities. What a wonderful partnership Spectrum School has with Rockford University! I like Rockford U’s giant Bluetooth speaker! It would be great to have at Spectrum!

We are enjoying reading together the historical novel, Blood of the River. It explores the hardships of the new world in Jamestown, 1607. After completing our work for the day, we enjoyed playing a survival game to test our knowledge of what we would do in various scenarios. Dylan, Wesley and Julia were the winning team today. We also enjoyed a walk before the rains came to look for signs of Spring.
