Kicked off our Wildfire Unit today with a spark! The Design Thinkers have a lot of questions about wildfires. And I really got them curious when I asked if wildfires are good or bad. Ask your Design Thinker what the “fire triangle” is tonight. It’s going to be a great theme!

Using 2 green triangles, a small piece of yellow paper, a hole punch, and yarn, can you make a Christmas tree that is 3 dimensional, has garland, AND a star on top? We’re still working on them!
Design Thinkers' Challenge!
You are a scientist and a land manager with the Forestry Service. You must launch a PSD into the woods with precision to start a prescribed fire. Can you build a PSD launcher with 12 popsicle sticks, 3 rubber bands and a bottle cap?
