Thinking, Creating, Reflecting: Impacting the Future

Middle School Memoirs: Apr.1 – Apr.5

Peer Editing

Back to work right away this morning. We are peer editing our novels in verse inspired by our reading of the novel Out of the Dust. Students give each other feedback about the important aspects of the genre.

Working Together...literally!

It wasn’t the awesome hairspray practice or the group exercise, or the fdr scavenger hunt that I captured. No it was these goofball who tied themselves together and functioned as one ‘being’ for a good hour! I love them, and how could you not?

Fireside Chat

Take a listen to a Fireside Chat from Franklin Delano Roosevelt back in 1936. This time, his topic was the absolute need for the government to provide work for farmers that was meant to help revitalize the land. A visionary even for today!
