Thinking, Creating, Reflecting: Impacting the Future

Preschool Highlights! Jan. 29 – Feb. 2

Annie and the Wild Animals!

This week, we read Annie and the Wild Animals and tried corn cakes. Ask your student what animals came out of the forest to eat Annie’s corn cakes!

Light Up Gloves?!

Artie shared a pair of gloves that light up in Preschool this week. He walked around the circle and let everyone press the button to make them glow. He said you can buy them at Target!

Animal Movements!

We pretended we were different animals while moving to the drum beats. Student leaders picked the animal and set the tempo. Students had to be ready to stop and go. You can see the videos of the animal movements here!

Move Like A Clock!

We used our scarves to move like a clock on our tippy toes and sway to Leroy Anderson’s, Syncopated Clock. Students also learned how to fold up their scarves as Anderson’s Forgotten Dreams music played.

We read Owl Moon and made owls with our handprints!
