Thinking, Creating, Reflecting: Impacting the Future

Travelers’ Tales! Nov. 15 – Nov. 19

Harvest Time!

This week, we read a new poem, “Harvest Time.” We talked about what the word harvest means. The kids had to identify a vegetable in a bag by how it felt and then they took it out to see if they guessed correct. Ask your child if they remember what they picked!

Art Time Fun!

Morning work practicing “just a dot, not a lot” with our glue!

Did you know...?

Did you know that peeling the paper off of crayons is not only fun, but a great activity for developing fine motor skills?!

Two Great Stories!

This week, we read Rosie’s Walk and Going On A Bear Hunt. Both books encourage the use of positional words. We colored scarecrows this morning then used those scarecrows and some crows to show how to use positional words in action!

The Travelers shared afternoon work time with Early Elementary friends on Thursday!

As always, feel free to email us with any questions, concerns, or even requests for this newsletter!
