Thinking, Creating, Reflecting: Impacting the Future

Preschool Highlights! Oct. 19 – Oct. 23

On Monday, we read the story Creepy Carrots and then made creepy carrots!

Working together and building with the marble race!

Little Miss Muffet sat on her Tuffet!

On Tuesday, we recited the nursery rhyme Little Miss Muffet and took turns acting out Miss Muffet and the spider! What did Miss Muffet sit on? What did she eat? Who sat by her and what happened?

Work Time Wednesday!

Go Away, Big Green Monster!

On Wednesday, we read Go Away, Big Green Monster! and created a fun project to go along with the story! The children practiced their fine motor skills through lots of cutting and gluing while creating their very own monsters. We had a great time bringing this silly story to life!

Music with Ms. Sue!

This week in Music with Ms. Sue, we had fun making music with Boomwhackers and dancing with colorful scarves! The children explored rhythm, movement, and music while expressing themselves through dance. We had so much fun singing, moving, and making music together!

Spider Project!

We turned the paper plates we made the other day into creepy-crawly spiders! Then, we created a class chart to find out who likes spiders and who doesn’t. After everyone shared their opinions, we counted our results and practiced our counting skills!

Thank you RU students for reading Halloween books to us!

This Week's Sharings!

This week in Preschool, Tatum shared her babydoll Veevee, Iris shared her special Minnie Mouse stuffy, Lark shared her sparkly pink dice, Nahlia shared her pink Squishmallow, Leilani shared her favorite mermaid named Cupcake, and Otto shared his T-Rex, monster truck, and car. Thanks everybody!
