We learned a lot with our first ZOOM meeting today!
It was wonderful to see everyone. We miss you so much! Thank you for sharing all of your work and being very patient with our technology. It will get easier as we figure it all out together.
Students can use the Recy-COOL Kids Thread in Google Hangouts to ask questions about the Google Classroom assignments or get help accessing other school related information.
Digital Dance Party!
Screen Shot of the dance party at the end of our class meeting this morning. Kate requested “Here Comes the Sun” by the Beatles!
An easy "Cat Moods" project! Here are some of the submissions from our families!
Thursday = Happy "Make Your Own Holiday" Day!
Take a look at everyone’s ideas. Students used these ideas to start their brainstorming, then made detailed docs, slide shows, or videos about their chosen theme. They even included links to activities and recipes! We are very impressed Recy-COOL Kids! If you didn’t get to celebrate Thursday, feel free to chose another day. If students didn’t get to add to the Padlet, they can do so at any time using the link in the Classroom assignment.
In the Greenfield house, we celebrated Hug-a-Chicken Day (with a chicken obstacle course), Pokémon Day (with a family photo booth), and Art Day (with fancy jewelry and lots of artwork)!
What have you been celebrating?
Thank you for your flexibility and commitment to your student's education!
As always, feel free to email us with any questions, concerns, or even requests for this newsletter!
