Thinking, Creating, Reflecting: Impacting the Future

Sprouts’ Accounts! Oct. 14 – Oct. 18

Stemming from the content we covered this week, feel free to ask your little learner:

  • What was Fletcher the Fox worried about? (Answer: The tree losing its leaves.)
  • What is Autumn?
  • What is a Den?
  • What was your pumpkin feeling? (Sad, mad, embarrassed, etc.)
  • Afternoon students: what animal did you make with your leaves?

Feelings

This week, we talked about recognizing feelings. This will be a topic that will continue throughout the year. This is a good read on social skills and how to help.

Your Child’s Social Skills…

Early Elementary Collaboration!

Early Elementary 3rd year students invited us to hear their goat presentations. It was so fun to see all of their hard work. It was also nice to practice good listening and seeing what goes into a presentation!

We found slug eggs, so we brought them inside to look at under the microscope!

Sharing!

We read “Should I Share my Ice Cream” by Mo Willems and practiced sharing and using manners!

Tracing “Fletcher” from “The Fox and the Leaves”!
