Upper School Highlights! Mar. 18 – Mar. 22

Anderson Japanese Gardens’ guest house!

Students made own rice balls-onigiri and enjoyed bento box
Miso soup, Teriyaki chickens, edamame (green soybeans), Inarizushi (sushi wrapped in fried tofu), kyuuri (cucumber), daikon (oriental radish), ninjin (carrots), natto (fermented soybeans), umeboshi (pickled dried plum),
Genmai cha (Roasted rice green tea).

Guest Artist!

This week, we hosted a guest artist and art teacher, Mrs. Salinas! She taught students about Spanish speaking artists and they began creating art in each artist’s style. Upper focused on the work of Jean-Michel Basquiat. We are excited to have Mrs. Salinas and do some wonderful art!
